Ting Shuo residency and tour, Taiwan 2025

Research and development for a new live performance set up for DSLB was my focus for our 8 week residency at Ting Shuo in Tainan. The local environment became a rich resource for found objects and field recordings and many hours of experimentation. New ideas were trialled in improvised solo performances and collaborations and around Taiwan and presented in the final Artist talk at Ting Shuo.

Drawing

Drawing also became a feature of the residency – both diary sketches and drawing of performers in the dark. In our final artist talk, I created an opportunity for the audience to participate in some of the drawing practices I use in my work.
