Developing a new live performance setup for DSLB was my focus of our eight-week residency at Ting Shuo in Tainan.

The local environment became a rich source of found objects, field recordings and many hours of experimentation. New ideas were explored through improvised solo performances and collaborations across Taiwan before being shared in the final artist talk at Ting Shuo.

Drawing

Drawing also became a feature of the residency – both diary sketches and drawing of performers in the dark. In our final artist talk, I created an opportunity for the audience to participate in some of the drawing practices I use in my work.
